COOKING WITH CALCIUM

Certain tips that provide extra Calcium and can be easily incorporated in Indian kitchens.

  • Use grated paneer instead of butter on steamed vegetables, casseroles, and soups.
  • Grind roasted sesame (til) seeds and mix with fruit salad or sprinkle over cereal.
  • Add skim milk powder to cereals, soups, bread batter.
  • Each tablespoon contains nearly 100 mg of calcium.
