Whatever may be the cause of hair fall, violent tugging to remove tangles only worsens the problem. If one has tangles or knots, it is best not to use a comb, instead use a soft brush, gently to remove knots/tangles.

BALANCED DIET

Most women get excessive hair fall due to deficient diet, either due to crash dieting or eating just enough to carry on daily chores. A diet well balanced in all constituents like proteins, Carbohydrates, Fats, Minerals, Fibres, Water and Vitamins etc. is essential if any treatment directed at hair loss is to succeed. A meal should start with salads, contain good quantities of vegetables and must also have atleast one seasonal fruit per day.

At least one glass of milk and eight to ten glasses of water to be consumed per day.
