Kegel’s pelvic floor exercises

Step 1
Image The patient lies on her back keeping her knees straight and ankles crossed.
  • The gluteal muscles are tightened and relaxed similarly followed by adductors.
  • Follow this by contractions of the rectal and urinary sphincters in succession followed by relaxation.
  • Spread the contractions to lower abdominals and relax.
