- Shop for a maternity/nursing bra during the final weeks of your pregnancy, because your breasts are continually enlarging as the pregnancy progresses. A bra selected late in pregnancy is more likely to fit adequately after the baby is
born.
- Look for a bra that provides convenient, easy access to the breast. A bra that allows
the cup to be opened with one hand can be helpful when you're holding your baby and
preparing to breastfeed.
- Avoid trying to find a bra that leaves too much room for future growth, because it will
not give you the proper support now.
- You must choose a bra that fits well at the time, knowing that you may have to change to
another size later.
- It is recommended that you buy at least two or three maternity/nursing bras so you can
have a fresh, clean bra every day.
