Maternity Bra

  1. Shop for a maternity/nursing bra during the final weeks of your pregnancy, because your breasts are continually enlarging as the pregnancy progresses. A bra selected late in pregnancy is more likely to fit adequately after the baby is born.
  2. Look for a bra that provides convenient, easy access to the breast. A bra that allows the cup to be opened with one hand can be helpful when you're holding your baby and preparing to breastfeed.
  3. Avoid trying to find a bra that leaves too much room for future growth, because it will not give you the proper support now.
  4. You must choose a bra that fits well at the time, knowing that you may have to change to another size later.
  5. It is recommended that you buy at least two or three maternity/nursing bras so you can have a fresh, clean bra every day.
