TWELFTH WEEK

At 12 wks: 6½ cms in length about 18 gms weight. Development this week includes:

• Formation of the face and development of eyelids.
• Continued development of the external ear.
• Continued growth and development of the internal organs.
• Development of the muscles, especially in the limbs.
• Increased body movements
• Continued growth of the external genital organs.
