Serving Soups when Dieting

TOMATO SOUP

You will need:

  • Channa dal 4 tbsp
  • Tomato 1
  • Carrot 1
  • Onion 1
  • Green chilies, curry leaves few

METHOD

  1. Cook channa dal along with vegetables and blend.
  2. Season it with salt and pepper.

CLEAR TOMATO SOUP

Cooking time – 25 minutes

  1. Make tomato soup as directed as above.

  2. Reheat after putting through muslin
  3. If a slightly thickened soup is desired, it will only be necessary to rub through the sieve without straining afterwards.
