Serving Soups when Dieting

CLEAR ONION SOUP

1 serving

Cooking time – 20 minutes

You will need:

  • 10 gms. Butter
  • 1 onion
  • 275 ml of clear stock
  • Yeast extract
  • 20 gms. Grated cheese
  • 1 Pinch sage

METHOD

  1. Grate the onion, toss in the butter and then add the stock (flavored with yeast extract).
  2. Season well, adding pinch sage and simmer for 20 minutes.
