Sauces for Slimmers

EGG SAUCE

Cooking time – 10- 15 minutes

You will need:

  • 1 egg
  • Seasoning
  • 275 ml of milk
  • 20 gms butter

METHOD

  1. Put the egg, butter and seasoning into the top of a double saucepan or basin over hot water.
  2. Whisk or stir briskly until thick enough to coat the back of a wooden spatula.
  3. Take great care the water never boils vigorously otherwise the sauce will curdle.
