Eggs

OMELETTES

Cooking time – 5 minutes

You will need:

  • 1-1½ eggs per person
    Warm water
    Seasoning

METHOD

  1. Rub the omelet pan with oil or melt a little butter in this.
  2. Get this really hot, pour in eggs and do not move until a very thin film has set at the bottom of the pan.
  3. Work the omelet to enable it to cook quickly and be light.
  4. The moment the omelet is set, put in the filling and roll or fold away from the pan handle

VARIATIONS

  • Tomato: Stew tomatoes with seasoning in butter. Use some as a filling and the rest as garnish

  • Mushroom: Cook the mushrooms in little milk, add seasoning, add to eggs before cooking.

  • Cheese: Put the layer of grated cheese through the middle before folding or fill with thick cheese sauce.

  • Chicken or other poultry: Heat in creamy sauce and use a filling

  • Mixed vegetables: A mixture of softened peppers, mushrooms and tomatoes make a delicious filling. Simmer these together first

  • Spinach: which should be sieved or well chopped is an excellent filling.
