FIG AND CHEESE FLOWERS
Serve 6.
You will need:
- 12 fresh figs
- 1 cup cottage cheese
- ½ tsp grated
lemon peel
- ¾ tsp vanilla
- 12 almonds
METHOD
- Cut stems of figs.
- Cut through each fig into 4 petals by cutting through from stem end to about 1cm from
other end.
- Blend cottage cheese, lemon and vanilla
until smooth.
- To serve, stand 2 to 3 figs on each plate, gently open into flowers, spoon about 2
teaspoons of cheese mixture into the flower and top with an almond.
