Sauces for Slimmers

PICKLED RED CABBAGE:

No cooking

  1. Cut the cabbage into shreds
  2. Put into a basin with a good sprinkling of salt between each layer
  3. Leave for 24 hours
  4. Drain thoroughly, pack into jars and pour over the cold spiced vinegar
  5. For quantities of spiced vinegar see pickled cucumbers.
