Sauces for Slimmers

EASY CURRY SAUCES

  • 1 tablespoon oil or ghee
  • 2 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 3 teaspoon cumin powder
  • ½  teaspoon Red chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 small minced onion
  • 2 teaspoon lemon juice
  • For a creamier sauce you can add one cup of yogurt towards the end.
  • You can also use prepared curry sauce or curry powder.

This curry sauce can be used with

  1. skinned cubed potatoes
  2. cooked chickpeas
  3. cauliflower
  4. peas
  5. carrots
  6. broccoli
